FABRIC SAFE® 3 is a new revolutionary interior dry crystalline powder fire retardant formulated to be mixed with hot water. It is an economical alternative to FABRIC SAFE® 1 and costs less to ship. It complies with all the testing referenced above. One package makes one-half gallon of FABRIC SAFE® 3 liquid fire retardant spray. Coverage rate is 150 to 200 sq. ft. depending on the weight of the material. FABRIC SAFE® 3 flame retardant can be applied with any trigger or mist sprayer available. It is the product of choice for cotton, polyester, cotton/polyester blends, upholstered furniture, draperies, muslin, and fabric wall coverings.

QUICK REFERENCE FOR APPLYING FABRIC SAFE® 3 FIRE RETARDANT SPRAY
Check for color fastness by applying a small amount of fire retardant to an obscure area. Fire treat fabric material with Fabric Safe® 3 fire retardant according to manufacturer’s specifications. Apply fire retardant with any type of spray equipment, such as a trigger sprayer, Hudson sprayer or mist applicator, held 6" - 12” from surface of material. Treat both sides where possible. Do not saturate, retardant will easily penetrate material. Allow to dry. Re-treat fabric after deep cleaning.
