FABRIC SAFE® 2 is an exterior fire retardant spray formulated for fire treating cotton canvas tents, awnings, tarps, burlap, hemp ropes and more. It has a Certificate of “Compliance for the NFPA 701 Test Method 1 & 2 Standard and many other Standards. FABRIC SAFE® 2 is warranted for 3 years or 120 inches of rain whichever comes first. It can flame retard leather, fire treat leather from the back side only.

QUICK REFERENCE FOR APPLYING FABRIC SAFE 2 FIRE RETARDANT SPRAY
Check for color fastness by applying a small amount of fire retardant to an obscure area. Fire treat fabric material with Fabric Safe 2 fire retardant according to manufacturer’s specifications. Apply fire retardant with any type of spray equipment, such as a Hudson sprayer or mist applicator, held 6" - 12” from surface of material. Treat both sides where possible. Do not saturate, retardant will easily penetrate material. Allow to dry. Not for use on Sunbrella, acetates, or coated fabrics.
